While the hotel's rooms were in need of refurbishment, they were clean and provided a dark ambiance suitable for daytime sleep, which was my intention. The lack of a safe posed security concerns, and there were signs of dampness. The location, however, was very convenient, being less than five minutes from the airport and close to the University of the West Indies. The friendly security personnel at the gate and proximity to shopping were notable positives.
The room had a bit of a rocky start with construction drilling in the hallway, power outage, no cable, and no hot water until the next day. However, it did have Air Conditioning, Free Wi-Fi, and an outside pool. Although the view of Songster's International Airport was nice, the lack of windows made it feel like a dungeon.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was great for easy access to the airport and nearby shopping malls and restaurants. The rooms had some noise issues and lacked hot water, but the service was friendly. The dining experience was decent for the price paid, and the facilities were satisfactory.
